"I am happy to send a little feed back
your way in regards to Krista Kersey's Cardio Kickboxing
Classes. I am a Constable with a local police service and
working out is a big part of my life. I attend the gym
regularly for weights, four times a week, spin class, two to
three times a week, and the usual running on the treadmill
stuff. As working out is an important part of my career it
is also a way of life for me and I am always looking for new
opportunities to improve my physic...aren't we all! In past
years I was involved in another local, full contact
kickboxing club, which I enjoyed very much. Unfortunately
with my busy life and recent move I could not continue there
and was very sad to leave, with only a green belt.
Last October another police officer
and I decided that we wanted to join a class together that
would challenge our regular routine. As I am in the Tecumseh
area I heard about Krista's Kickboxing and was interested to
see what the classes offered, so we joined.
I have been attending classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights
with the occasional Monday and Wednesday morning or night
classes. This was the first great thing about the classes.
There is opportunity to work around a busy schedule and all
of the classes and instructors are equally great.
Moving on... I have to say that these
classes offer a great all around body workout from toning
with weights, bands and your own body weight to gut
wrenching abdominal workouts and finally a cardio session
that can make the best conditioned athletes feel out of
shape.
From the two classes that I have been attending weekly I can
honestly say that I have improved in flexibility, lost
inches (two pant sizes to be exact), toned my entire body,
without the heavy weight lifting that I have been used to,
and my favorite drastically improved my cardio endurance.
Like, what I have said isn't enough!!
I have gained so much from attending these classes that when
they offered a third class on Friday nights, Bootcamp I call
it, I just had to sign up. This class offered even more of a
challenge for me. We have challenging work stations for the
entire body from toning to endurance and weight lifting to
cardio, I have to say this is the best part of the program.
I am not going to lie and say that I don't feel like I am
going to be sick after every class but it goes away and I
have never felt better.
As an athlete, and a person who is
very involved in my well being I know what I need to be
better and I know that only I can make that happen. These
classes are not for the lazy at heart, you get what you put
it and I know that I give 110%. I do that for me because I
would only be cheating myself. You might say that two pant
sizes in 1/2 a year is not good enough for you but as we all
know muscle weighs more than fat and I am losing the fat
with each class as well as improving in my muscle mass and
tone.So is this class for you? I guess if you love to push
your limits, get motivation from great trainers and have any
self worth...YOU should give it a try, I know you will love
it and never want to leave. Worth every penny, minute and
...pant size!!! You will be seeing me for a long time.
